John played, managed, and helped develop the social side of Bamber Bridge FC, organised charity events, quiz nights, a lottery & much more. The challenges faces in achieving ownership of the club has been holding onto it through times of financial difficulties & making sure the club is there for future generations. Since the application was submitted, John has sadley passed away and is very much missed by family, friends and all those that havbe known him throughout his time with the clubs and sport.

Tony has 50 successive years representing the city of Preston in national table tennis leagues and cup competitions. Tony has had to continually balance the demands of playing with coaching; a difficult balance that he has consistently managed and maintained. Over the years Tony has supported countless individuals whether learner, developer or talented participany to reach their potential and is considered as the key driver of the management team at Preston Table Tennis Association.
